Transfer to Materuni Village The journey begins with a scenic drive to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, a local guide provides a brief introduction to the village, its history, and Chagga traditions. Guided Hike to Materuni Waterfall Enjoy a guided walk through lush landscapes filled with banana plantations, coffee farms, and local vegetation. The trail leads to the impressive Materuni Waterfall, cascading approximately 80 meters into a natural pool. Guests may relax, take photographs, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters. Traditional Coffee Experience After returning to the village, participate in a hands-on coffee tour. Learn about the traditional methods of growing, harvesting, roasting, and grinding coffee beans. You will roast the beans over an open fire, grind them using traditional tools, and finally enjoy a freshly brewed cup of organic coffee. The experience is often accompanied by local songs and cultural interaction with villagers. Return Transfer After the cultural experience, transfer back to your accommodation.
